The Police Detector has been tested by 25 experienced drivers over 3 years in real-world driving conditions across multiple states.
Many of these drivers already used top radar detectors and laser countermeasures.
That means it can warn before moving instant-on radar, pacing, and undercover units become a threat.
Radar detectors react to radar.
Laser jammers react to laser.
That's why it works against:
The Police Detector is now being installed by professional car audio and vehicle electronics shops across multiple states.
Comparable to top laser jammer systems - with protection they do not provide

What is Included:

Laser jammers (devices that interfere with police LIDAR speed guns) are regulated by state law, not federal law. They are illegal in California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, and Virginia. Penalties vary by state but typically range from traffic infractions with fines of about $50-$250 (such as in California, Colorado, Utah, Tennessee, and Virginia) to misdemeanors with larger fines and possible jail time in states like Illinois, Minnesota, and Oklahoma, where penalties can reach $1,000-$1,500 and up to 90 days or more in jail in extreme cases.
But the good news is that 40,000 radar and jammer enthusists at the Rdforum.org have not had one single report of any of these things happening. A big part of avoiding unwanted attention is to set up a 4 second automatic jammer shut off. This gives you 4 seconds to slow down and let the laser operator get a reading on you. This is called Jam to Kill or JTK for short. Never Jam all the way to the Laser Gun (JTG). This invites unwanted attention and the reason some states enacted these laws. The installers that the Police Detector recommends always set up a brief jamming interval.
Sherlock utilizes an advance computer similar to your desktop PC inside of a small 4"x 5" box. The 5" HD monitor displays up to 5 "targets" in track. The (1/2) indicator on the demo screen means this is the first target and there is a total of 2 targets in track. Below that is the other target. Up to 5 targets are displayed, but there can be up to 30 targets in track.
Each Police has a "Pseudo" number which is unique to each car. This ID tag lets you determine if a police car is one that you already saw earlier, behind you, or another one. If target count is high (greater than 2) it could indicate a speed trap, an accident, or check point.
The Police can wait until you come around the corner and trigger their radar instantly on you to defeat your radar detector.
Radar Detectors with Laser Detectors DO NOT protect you from Police Laser Tickets.
Sherlock detects the police car (not police radar) to alert you to any and all police speed traps such as Vascar, Pacing, Air Police, and instant on radar ambush.
Police often sit in the dark in view of a Stop sign to make sure everybody stops 100% and pulls over slow roll stoppers. Another night tactic is to follow you while looking at their speedometers.
Darkness does not hide them from Sherlock.
"County-Mounties" often come out to the highway to bring in small city ticket income.
Some of these SpeedTraps bring in millions of dollars to local police. Sherlock sniffs out speed traps using timing devices, laser, or radar.
Radar Detectors beep constantly! Burgler alarms, door openers, and cars with radar blind spot detection are the cause.
Sherlock has very few false alarms. If it beeps there are police nearby!
